I noticed a lot of changes in my skin around the time I turned 40. My skin, which was once on the oily side, has become drier and more easily dehydrated. The more I age, the more layers my skin craves. I have also noticed that my skin needs more exfoliation as the natural cell turnover process slows down.

My skin is often dull and lacks that glow so exfoliating is vital.

Ohlolly Suggests gently exfoliating while cleansing with JKosmmune Enzyme Cleansing Powder or Missha Natural Soft Jelly (Konjac) Cleansing Puff

I also recommend Vitamin C for anti-aging. Vitamin C helps even out skin tone and texture plus it's a potent antioxidant to help protect the skin from environmental aggressors.

A few other ingredients that I recommend are hyaluronic acid and ferment. As we age, the skin has a hard time retaining moisture and products rich in hyaluronic acid help bind moisture to the skin. Ceramides also help the skin maintain its moisture level plus help prevent dry, irritated skin.

My favorite is Cosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture Cream. This helps the skin to stay plump and moisturized. Ferment, aka probiotics, help strengthen the skin. My favorite is Missha's Time Revolution Ampoule.

I also believe double cleansing is essential for healthy skin. If your skin is not thoroughly cleansed, it doesn't matter how many products you use because they won't penetrate into the skin.

And lastly, don't shy away from oils,

even for those with oily skin. Oils can be amazing for the skin, especially for those with aging skin because they are packed with vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.

Ohlolly Suggests Urang Oil Serum Trio, which deeply moisturize, brighten and rejuvenate.

Thank you for sharing, Julie!
