This is a great hydrating toner if you’re looking for something simple but still effective. My skin is pretty sensitive and I haven’t had any breakouts or rashes with it which is a major plus. I also love it as a face mist for when I need to feel a little refreshed during the day.
I have a naturally ruddy face (drives me crazy) and I really think this helps with making me less red! My face is nice and soft, and calmer looking.
So here's the deal: this stuff is mostly water. First two ingredients are water and centella water - so I am a little skeptical of the actual concentration here. THAT SAID, I am still using it like crazy. And every other ingredient in this reassuringly simple formula is a proven skin soother or humectant. It makes an effortless layer after cleansing - and if I use a mud or exfoliating mask in my routine for the day I will use it again afterwards. Absolutely no residue so it plays well with everything, highest usability rating possible. My skin is also demonstrably less red these days. I can't definitively say it's only because of this toner because I have been mixing up my routine and fine tuning several elements at once. In all likelihood it's part of the reason though. It is def affordable compared to other toners this size - but I don't think it's an insane value because of the high water content and how fast I am draining the bottle. Before this I used a doubly expensive calming serum from Paula's Choice - which, while absolutely effective, is a much thicker layer in my routine and limits my ability to use other products at the same time. I consider this my daily maintenance soother now, and only get out my PC serum (or the excellent Belborn Quick Soothing Ampul Mask, also on this website) when I need the big guns
I love this toner from COSRX. It has a cooling effect and hydrates my skin amazingly. I can tell the difference immediately right after I use it and can feel the balance it brings to my skin; it's non-drying and just all ready for the next steps in my skincare routine. I don't sense any fragrance at all. I prefer to use a cotton on this one, but I might try spritzing it on my face come summer time. It's a very good toner, in my opinion.
